Chapter Fifty Six

ELIAS’ POV

I couldn’t wait for lectures to be done as my mind was on Scarlet. I was burning deep inside of me to unravel whatever this mystery was.

As soon as the last class for today, ended, I shot up from my seat instantly.

“Wait, where are you going to?” Beatrice asked, looking at me, with intense curiosity.

“I have things to do. I won’t be able to walk with you, so, you can leave without me.” I said to her, and hurried out of the class.

Immediately I got out of the class, I headed towards the wolves’ block, hoping to find Scarlet before she leaves. Thankfully, I found her at the hallways, packing up her things.

“Hey Scarlet. How were your classes today?” I asked, to bring up a healthy conversation between us.

“They were fine.” She responded without looking at me.

“Do you want me to come over to your house to spend time with you, or you’ll come over to mine?”

“I have some things to do, Elias. Now, please if you may excuse me.” Scarlet said, zipping up her bag, and about to walk out
