32. Sisters

My sword fell when I saw Reyna's wolf, Riva bounding from between the trees, her body trembling in anger, her nose flared in anger. I expected her to come towards me, but she swerved at the last moment, and bounded towards the pack house. My eyes narrowed as I watched her. From where she came from, I was almost sure she went to the Silvercrest pack, but why?

"Man, I almost killed you," Enzo, my fighting partner and my other best friend, said as he stopped his sword just a few inch from my face, panting. "What the hell is wrong with you, Liam? You don't look like yourself at all, since yesterday. What happened in the Sivercrest pack? Was Elyn really there?"

I almost wanted to tell him about Elyn, but I couldn't. I didn't. I had promised that Alpha asshole that I wouldn't say anything to anyone and then Elyn this morning, and I was going to keep the promise, but I didn't want to. I wanted to bring her back here.
