Lust or Love

There was a loud sound of metals clashing and Emma was startled. The guard from earlier had a baton in hand and he used it to bang against the metal rays.

"Hmm..." Emma groaned as she tried to sit upright. She had been laying on the dungeon floor for days. She couldn't get a wink of sleep.

Her eyes were red and swollen at this point and all she could think of was Diego.

She didn't know if she was dead or not. Every night she had spent in the dungeon was filled with pain.

Her body radiated with pain, however, she still had to endure.

"Stand up!" The guard ordered as he pulled the door open.

Surprisingly, he had a small bowl in hand which contained food for Emma.

"It's time to eat. You got so lucky that the Alpha is concerned about you." He said and quickly placed the bowl beside Emma.

At this point, Emma was resting on the wall with her eyes closed. She could hear and feel the guard's presence. She could also perceive the scent of food, however, she couldn't bring herself to eat.
