The painting Antonio gave her was an oil painting of a landscape, only sixteen mo in size, framed in a simple frame, not too flashy to be suspicious as a gift, but simple and elegant.

Cynthia even wondered if Antonio had given the painting to Debby by himself, as the frame was even wrapped in a few pieces of simple foam.

She looked at it briefly, smiled up at Debby and said, "Thank you, I'm going to take these to my study and paint them later, so I hope you'll tell the others not to disturb me while I'm painting."

Debby nodded, her almond eyes curving in a smile that looked genuinely pleased to have done what she had been asked to do: "Yes Miss Cynthia I will tell them later and you remember to go and eat your breakfast first!!! From today onwards you will be able to draw at home! I really admire artists like you!"
