POV Alejandro King As I watched Katarina sleep I was struck with worry. What was going on with her? She tried to be so strong and fight whatever was happening but her body was weak. I got called away to a meeting today and as I listened to the other families discuss the newest on the weapons front my thoughts were back home with Katarina. I didn’t want to be distracted but I couldn’t hide my worry and my father and Pedro noticed. “ Amico, is everything OK? You seem…out of it today.” He said as he handed me a cigarette.
