Connor couldn't contain his worry any longer as he approached Russo. They had talked about many things and now, he needed to know if Annah and his child were doing alright. The last thing he wanted was for them not to be alright. If that happened, he knew that he would never be able to forgive himself because everything was entirely his fault. The two of them standing in the dimly lit corridor of the room Connor had been recuperating, the antiseptic scent in the air filling their senses. Connor's face was etched with concern, his eyes searching Russo's for reassurance.

"Russo," Connor began hesitantly, "I've been so worried about Annah and the baby. Do you know how they're doing?"

Russo placed a reassuring hand on Connor's shoulder. He understood the gravity of the situation and could see the fear in his friend's eyes. With a reassuring nod, he replied, "Connor, I just checked on them. Annah and the baby are both okay. You can breathe a sigh of relief."
