Garaine quickly wrapped her arms around him as he fell unconscious.

"Mr. Turner, wake up!" Garaine shook him before tapping his cheeks, attempting to wake him up. "Open your eyes. Mr. Turner!"

Abruptly, she noticed the abnormal temperature of her husband. Frowning, she put her palm on his forehead. "Damn! He is burning!" she uttered, astounded by the high temperature he had.

Hearing the commotion, Lucia came out.

"What happened?!" She exclaimed, kneeling beside her best friend.

"I d-don't know," Garaine replied, feeling a lump around her neck. Tears glistened in her eyes. "I was talking to him and suddenly he fainted."

"Let's take him inside first."

Wrapping his arms around her neck, Garaine carried him on her back after a huge struggle. She laid him on her bed with utmost care.
