Damian’s POV

I knew she wanted to get a reaction out of me, I could see right through her and just like I’d told Isaac, I knew she wasn’t married.

Watching her leave the coffee shop, I stood to follow her and offered to drop her off but she needed to pick up her child from school which makes me feel even better.

I’d be able to execute my plan just how I wanted to.

“You don’t have to worry, I can pick him up with you and I’ll drop you both off at home.” I offered. She refused and said she was going to pick him up herself at first but soon changed her mind when I insisted on driving her there.
