I couldn't believe what was happening. While I'm glad that the Cobras failed in getting Evanish, I also would've gladly handed it over to them if it meant that Haley would be ok. I was devastated to see what happened to her. The entire situation seemed surreal. I couldn't even fathom what was even happening. It felt as if I'd been cast in a movie. These sorts of things never happened to us, just in the movies.

...Damian POV...Nearly two weeks have gone past since the incident. I haven't left her side once. I was thankful for my brother, as he managed to upgrade her room, including providing her with a queen-sized mattress. Zane also had a laptop sent over so that I could work from here.
