34. Crime Scene

After I dropped Jessica off at her place, I had to make a few phone calls. I wanted to arrange a meal service for Jessica. It was the least I could do. I didn't want her to either skip meals or have to worry about making them. I wanted to try and help her as much as I could. In the short amount of time I've known Jess, I found her to be extremely compelling. Though I wasn't oblivious to her and Liam's relationship. I was never one to intrude on another's relationship before, so I knew I would have to tread lightly. The last thing I wanted was to come between the two of them.

After making the arrangements, I made my way to the office. It was the first time I'd been here since the accident. Seeing it now during the daylight put things in a whole new perspective. The investigators were still stationed both in and outside the building. So I parked my car and made my way to their command post. I wanted to know how their investigation was going.
