Chapter Forty-One

“Is this a good idea? To go traipsing into the forest and see if we can find the mysterious hidden land that the council took away from you?” Echo asked as he helped me pack a small bag with a few survival items. We could spend most of our time in wolf forms but still, we’d have a need for a fire potentially.

“No, I'm not sure it’s a good idea. But it’s the only idea we have right now. I’m not sure what else to do.” I admitted with a shrug as I double-checked the pack before turning back to him and crossing my arms.

“Well then let's go running through the forest shall we.” Echo shrugged as he tossed me the pack and pushed me towards the door. I chuckled and walked towards the front porch where the others were waiting.

Since we were still worried about the pack potentially being attacked we were taking precautions. Magnus was going to stay back to recuperate from his wound. I healed what I could but there was a lot of internal damage I could not heal. He needed the time to heal so
