Chapter 42. Burning Sensation

Everest met Jasper in his office early in the morning to tell him about Evangeline Alexander. Jasper arrived a few minutes ago and is still enjoying his morning coffee.

"I found some information about recent worker recruitments from some companies. When I examined it, Xander Enterprise was one of them. The company accepted more than 50 staff members to the project," Everest briefly explained before giving Jasper the document. Jasper took the paper and read it with a frown on his forehead.

"Do they report to the union?" Jasper asked while his eyes were still on the paper.

"No. Xander is the only company that has not yet reported to the worker union. So we can't trace Ms. Alexander." Jasper kept frowning more.

"Why?"

"Because most probably Ms. Alexander is taking one of the positions at Xander Enterprise." Jasper read all the names of new employees from the union, but Eva was missing from the list.

"Her friend said that she took a job and received an email about it when she was with me.
