Chapter 50. Disguise And Lie

Gabriel walked into the Novecento along with his Epsilon, Bryan Hunter. He came to a reservation waiter and asked for a table.

"I'm the owner of Xander Enterprise; I want a good table for myself," Gabriel ordered, as cold as he was. The waiter does not argue, like when Bryan came before. He nodded and asked him to follow. Hence, Gabriel witnessed something that boiled his blood.

"What do you think about my offer?" Jasper asked after a long pause from Eva. Eva glanced back at Jasper, who was waiting for her answer.

"I'm," Eva stumbled with her own words. Was this the right thing to do? Or she only made another hell hole; she doesn't realize.

"I need time to think. Moreover, I have signed the contract. It's not even a week yet. So,"

Before Eva continued, Gabriel approached their table. With two hands in his pockets, he barged in arrogantly.

"What a good night to see you here, Kent. This is the place where you have dinner, huh?" Gabriel strokes in with a cynical, unprepared confrontation
