Chapter 49. Won't Stay Quiet

Gabriel raggedly cursed when he heard about Jasper taking Luna to dinner. Moreover, it was a romantic one. Bryan was still on the phone, gasping and annoying while reporting it to Gabriel.

"Damnit. I'll be there soon!" Gabriel cut off the call and then strolled out of his office. He growled and clenched his fist. Cheyne entered the elevator, left his room, and saw his Alpha.

"Alpha!" Gabriel was in the elevator, so he didn't hear the call. Cheyne had no idea about Gabriel at all. But seeing his tense expression, I knew something should be happening. Mostly, it could have been a better one.

"Where's he going?" Cheyne murmured. He took another elevator to follow Gabriel.

Unfortunately, Cheyne was unable to catch Gabriel's steps. Gabriel went off immediately with his car without a driver. An Epsilon who intended to go with Gabriel stood on the last stair of the main lobby, stunned. He stared at his Alpha, then turned to see Cheyne, who had just arrived at the stairs.
