After Maya had left the dining room and headed to her room, I went to fill the empty glass cup there with water and finished it in one gulp before going back to sit down, still trying to understand what happened.

I had just hugged her like she meant something to me. The other day, I carried her in my arms to Omega's house and I regretted my actions for the rest of that night.

The next day, I prepared a meal for her when I realized that she had not eaten since the night before. Then, I scolded her for not obeying my orders because I felt like I was responsible for what happened to her.
