MAYA

I felt like someone was shaking me, making me feel dizzy until I realized that I was actually sleeping. I groaned tiredly, stretched my body, my eyes still closed. I heard a loud voice

" Get up from bed, Maya. We have to go make breakfast, " I heard Julia say and I put out my palm, indicating that I wanted to sleep for five minutes more.

Before I knew what was happening, I was being dragged from my bed and I ended up on the floor, yelping in pain as my buttocks made contact with the floor forcefully.

" What was that for? " I asked, pouting as I rubbed my buttocks, trying to get up from the floor.

" It's almost six in the morning, take your bath and cine and meet me in the kitchen, we have an hour to cook or we're missing breakfast, " she answered.
