Rosaline POV:

I awoke blind folded, both of my wrists were chained, I had a collar around my neck that was also chained. I was standing up and I dropped my head, as I felt tears burning in my eyes.

No Rosaline, don't cry, don't let them get that pleasure of seeing you cry. I thought to myself. I don't know what happened. I was in my cellar laying down in pain, the gash that was on my cheek was throbbing and didn't want to heal so I laid down to try and get some sleep. And then I heard my door open, and I saw one of the omega's and then everything went dark.

I heard murmurs around me, the air was cold I almost felt naked, what was I wearing. Lost in thought was snapped back to reality as I heard his vile voice.

"Everyone thank you for attending tonight, tonight this rogue will shift for the first time and after the shift the betting will begin." Hes said loudly for everyone to hear

Footsteps approached me, the blind fold was untied, I opened my eyes and gasped. There had to be over one hundred wolves. Everyone stared in awe. I struggled against the chains. Riftan roared with laughter.

"You foolish girl. Struggling will just make this moment even more satisfying." I heard Riley laugh as I made eye contact with him as he appeared on the podium. In his hand, was a silver whip.

"NO" I screamed "leave me alone" I struggled more but the chains were making it hard as they kept tightening on me. I was getting angry. I wanted to kill every single person here. My claws started to appear.

Alpha Riftan started uncontrollably laughing "Hit her Riley" everyone started to cheer. I continued to struggle, then the whip snapped, as it hit my back. I screamed in pain. Everyone continued to cheer "more" they all said, as the whip came cracking down all over my back and torso. I continued to scream out in agony

"Please stop, please" tears running down my face.

Suddenly there was a loud roar "What the hell is going on here" everyone stopped in fear and a tall man appeared with 2 others. I snapped my head up and my eyes met his.

"Mate" we both said in unison. Then I collapsed. and everything went black.

Unknown POV:

I was looking out the window of the car, watching the scenery of the forest under the full moon. I was on the way to the Red Mark Pack. I wasn't supposed to arrive till tomorrow; however, I couldn't fight this bad feeling I had, this pack was known for breaking the law and doing horrid things to their pack members. So, I decided to come here early.

As we arrived, I noticed there were a lot of wolves here tonight, not just from the Red Mark Pack but also from the Silver River pack, Midnight pack, and a couple other packs. I get out of the back of the car, accompanied by my Beta Arlo and my Gamma James. We all exchanged strange looks to each other as we entered through the front gate.

I walked through the place with Arlo and James at my side, both keeping their guards up. Walking through the place it was like a ghost town. Then I heard cheering. We walked towards the noise and as I passed by a door Arlo grabbed my arm.

"Xavier, you might want to see this," Arlo said pointing out the window.

I walked over to the window, and I saw a young she wolf, chained to posts in a very skimpy dress and she was being whipped. Anger started to rise in me and I threw the door open and stormed outside to the garden area.

"What the hell is going on here" I roared as I watched everyone begin to cower as they finally realized my presence. Then I noticed all cowered but one, she was looking at me and my eyes met hers. "Wait, I've seen those eyes before," I thought to myself. Then I felt the spark.

"Mate" I said, and I noticed she said it also, then her body went limp.

Arlo and Jason both heard me say mate and within seconds they were on the stage unchanging her. I stormed up to the stage trying to contain my wolf Kade.

I turn towards Alpha Riftan and grabbed him by his shirt pulling him up to face and I yelled

"WHY THE HELL IS MY MATE CHAINED LIKE THAT" At this point I started losing control as i saw her being held by Alro as his clothes were being soaked by her blood.

Alpha Riftan looked at me with horror " S-s-she disobeyed me" he said shakily. I knew he was lying. Now my claws came out I grabbed him by the throat.

"Don't you fucking lie to me" I spat this time Alpha Riftan smirked at me this time.

"She's a damn rogue, a filthy whore, she deserved it all" he snarled

I snarled and raked the side of his face with my claws dropping him, "James, Arlo get her to the car, get the doctor on the phone now!" I barked the orders at them and they hurried out of there quickly.

"Now for you" I snarled at Riftan "the treaty is now over!" I turned towards the crowd "All of you get the hell out of here" I roared as everyone scurried to leave. I followed everyone out searching around for Arlo and James and I found James and he beckoned me to come so we could leave.

"She's losing a lot of blood the doctor is waiting get in." he said

I quickly got in the car, and she was laying there, the dress was tattered showing most of her body. Beaten and bloody. "Let's go I barked" looking at her my wolf wanted to kill every single person who ever even touched her. I touched her cheek with the gash over it.

Why is she not healing properly? I can barely sense her wolf, she had to be of age, right? cause if she wasn't she wouldn't have said mate
