Chapter 27 - Waking up

Avery POV

I roll to my side trying to find Matteo next to me but his side of the bed is cold. I open one of my eyes trying to find him but he is not in bed. I frown and I sit down on the bed looking around as I pull my hair up into a messy bun. Where is he? Bathroom maybe?

My legs hurt and all of a sudden I am hit by the memories of the night before. Katherine and Matteo devouring my body. I feel my cheeks start to burn as I go bright red. I cover my face with both hands and giggle a little as I am hit by the images of us three in bed last night. I shake my head and I move out of bed. I walk to the bathroom that has the light off. Where is he? I look at the time on my watch and it’s past eleven in the morning. No wonder he is not in bed. Lazy bitch.

I walk into the bathroom doing my business and having a quick shower washing away the shame I feel over myself and over the things I have done yesterday. Things I have never done before. Things I have never consid
