Chapter 33 - Gala ball part 2

Matteo POV

“Boss, she is going to the Gala”, I hear as soon as I answer the phone. I take a deep breath and I instruct him to get me tickets, it doesn’t matter how he gets them, I need tickets for me and Leo. I don’t trust myself to go alone, I might end up bringing Avery with me.

I end the call and and walk into my bedroom to get changed, I don’t have a lot of time, as I do so I call Leo instructing him of what is happening. I can almost see him rolling his eyes as soon as I say we are going to the Gala.

“I thought you hated that kind of events”, Leo says and I take a deep breath.

“I do,  but I am following your advice, I am going to get get what is mine”, I say and Leo laughs on the other side of the line.

“If she wants you back, after what you said to her I imagine she will never want to see you again”, Leo spits and I end the call because I don’t want to tell him to fuck off. I look at myself
