Chapter 15: Toughen Up
There's something she's learned throughout her training with Dune. As much as it seems like he's doing too much for someone like her, she noticed that compared to his treatment with other soldiers, she heard that her training was lighter in comparison.
She has no way of proving it, just that Maj had told her that Dune was an instructor to the men who are protecting the city. But there were no recruits left to teach for now, that was why he was available.
Who knows when he'll be pulled back again to the gates to train newer recruits. That was why she wanted to ask.
They were in the back forest of the estate, carrying a heavily loaded bag, jumping from rocks to rocks, when she was struck with the desire to ask him.
