Chapter 20: Her Sin

Dune had left the evening prior. That meant at the early mornings and late evenings, she has to do all her drills by herself. It’s a bit reminiscent that Dune happened to be her most unexpected confider since waking up in Polvaros. The man was a big mass of trouble and her respect for him was enormous.   

As she was carrying a large chunk of weight up the mountains to get her head out from her last interaction with Santina, she saw something fly up above her.

Taking a rest, she lays down her weights and inspected the bird flying down. Astonished to discover that it had been a bird half her size with white feathers and a hint of brown spots. It was carrying a large box and carefully landing near her.

She stood back and waited if it was hostile but she quickly learned that it was a messenger bird from the insignia on its foot.
