Chapter 21: Blind Encounters
Evy waited in anticipation. Upon hearing the sounds of running shears, she stood her ground and overtly tried feeling for her core to burst.
“Barrier!” She timed the moment of the winds coming after her, before converting her essence and visualizing a hard shield.
She trusted her decision and heard a distinct pop. Evy deflected the air cutter.
Using that opportunity, she used body enhancement and went hard for a tackle.
“Ice wall!”
Her eyes scanned the grounds shaking under Santina.
Ice snakes up from the ground and towered over her. Already predicting the countermeasures, she easily changed the trajectory of her plan and focused the enhancement on her legs before jumping up over the wall.
She grabs the edge of it and maneuvered herself over it.
She used gravity in her favor while going down and went on the attack.
