Chapter Eighty - Two

Daphne sat beside Regina, her heart breaking as her friend's tears continued to flow. She gently brought a plate of food closer, placing it on the coffee table in front of them.

"Regina, please try to eat something. I know it's hard, but keeping your strength up is important during this difficult time," Daphne softly pleaded, her voice filled with concern.

Since Regina woke up, she have been crying non-stop which got Daphne really confused on how to cheer her up.

Regina glanced at the plate but shook her head, her voice trembling with anguish. "How can I eat when I don't even know if Mirabelle has eaten? I can't find any peace until she's back with us." Her voice cracked between sobs, deep-rooted fear and desperation evident in her words.
