Chapter Eighty - Nine

It's been two weeks since everything. The fight, pursuit here and there and everything else.

Now, everything bid back to being normal. Hills and Regina already returned back to New York with Mirabelle and enrolled her into a therapy session. It was really necessary since Damon played with her mind.

In this two weeks, Regina was told not to pay visit to Mirabelle until the session is over and Regina dearly hope for her daughter to be well again.

As for Hills, he's recovering pretty fast. Thankfully, the bullet did not go very deep into his legs and there's hope he'd walk again.

Regina sat opposite Martina in the interrogation room. The room was filled with an uncomfortable silence, and Regina could sense the weight of guilt that hung heavily on Martina's shoulders. She cleared her throat gently, trying to break the tension.
