Ninety-four

Damien was exhausted from it all. The phone calls, signing endless documents, and responding to emails. He was so exhausted and the only thing he knew he wanted to do was to have a nice and long sleep. Ther wasn't sny more thing he wanted more badly that that at that point.

"You look stressed sir," his assistant noted before dropping the document on his table. He didn't need to be told that he looked stressed, he knew it well.

"I am stressed, Susan. Please hold off any documents and call until tomorrow," he rose from his seat and pleaded for her to inform the driver of his potential departure. She nodded and bided him goodbye for the day before leaving the office.

Damien gave weak smiles on his way to the car to the hotel staff who for some reason in the world threw him fake smiles on his way to the vehicle. He knew what they were all saying about him and his family. Behind all the smiles, he knew the stories they've managed to weave in his case.
