Chapter Twenty-seven

ALPHA ARTHUR'S POV.

I sit in the back corner of the room, my gaze wandering around the space as the Alpha drones on about Pack business. The discussion is tedious and never-ending, and my mind keeps drifting off to other things. I try my best to pay attention, but it's difficult when there are so many other things that require my attention.

The room is quiet except for the sound of the Alpha's voice. It's a steady, monotone sound that makes my eyes heavy. I wish he would just hurry up and finish, but I know he won't. These meetings are always long and drawn out, filled with discussions that go on for hours.

I shift in my seat, trying to get comfortable. My back aches from sitting so long, and I can feel my eyelids drooping. I've been up since before dawn, and the fatigue is starting to catch up with me.
