EVA'S POV

I walked through the garden, my heart beating fast with excitement and fear – oh yes, I was both excited and scared at the same time. The flowers were in full bloom, their vibrant colors filling the air with a sweet, heady scent. I looked farther and spotted my father and mother sitting on a bench under a blooming cherry blossom tree, deep in conversation. I wondered what they were conversing about – those two, always up to no good.

"Dad! Mom!" I called out, waving and hurrying towards them.

My parents looked up in my direction, their faces breaking into smiles as they saw me. "Eva, dear! What brings you out here?" My father asked as he smiled broadly.

"I have something very important to tell you both," I said with my eyes shining.

"What is it, sweetheart? What could be so important that you had to come out of your room??" My mother asked with a hint of concern creeping into her voice.
