ZAYN'S POV

I couldn't understand why the Luna, Zero's mom, was so shocked when I showed her the trinket that was given to me when I was young. It was a beautiful piece, a golden pendant with intricate designs. It was one of the few things I had that belonged to someone whom I loved as a mother, and it meant a lot to me.

To my surprise, Luna abruptly grabbed my arm and dragged me over to a locked room somewhere in the pack house. I had never seen this room before, and I wondered what was inside. Luna fiddled with the lock for a few seconds before the door creaked open, revealing a dark and musty room.

As we entered the room, I saw Adrian's mom, Nikita lying on a bed, in a state of hibernation. My heart sank as I realized what had happened. I was fully aware of how Alpha Ambrose brutally attacked Adrian's mom because it happened right in front of me. I never imagined it would come to this – that she would be lying in a musty room, not being able to do anything.

The Luna sighed and clear
