EVA'S POV

I woke up to the sound of the maids knocking on my door and my heart sank as I realized that another day had dawned, bringing with it the same bleak reality that had consumed me for several weeks now. Ever since Zayn had left, my life had been nothing but miserable, totally miserable. I wondered what I had ever done to deserve such a life, a life full of utter sadness and sh*t!!

I tried to push away the thoughts of Zayn, but they clung to me like a vice, refusing to let go. And to make matters worse, I was not allowed to leave my room, a prisoner in Adrian's house.
