EVA'S POV

I was frozen in terror as the chaos swirled around me, the sounds of screaming and crashing filling my ears. The marketplace was supposed to be a place of lively chatter and haggling, but now it was a scene of pandemonium. I felt Zero grab my arm, "Come with me," she said urgently, leading me through the throngs of panicked people.

I stumbled after her, my heart pounding in my chest. Zero led me to a quiet corner, behind a stack of crates.

"Hide here," she said, pushing me down to the ground. "Stay low and don't move until I come back."

I looked up at her, her dark eyes meeting mine. "But what about you?" I asked, my voice trembling.

"I'll be fine," she said with a small smile. "I need to see if I can help others get to safety."

And with that, she was gone, darting back into the fray.

As I watched Zero disappear, I felt like I had to do something to help too. The chaos of the marketplace was overwhelming, and innocent people were falling left and right.
