I understood very well what he was trying to say. Just like the last time, Mascot came to him with allegations about me, that was the same thing I was doing. I had to provide the proof so he could believe me, at least.

He was trying to be fair and not supportive of anyone except with proof.

“I understand that but I want you to also give me a chance to prove it to you.” I replied him. “Just come to the river tomorrow evening and you'll hear from his own mouth all the plot he has made against me.”

I was firm in my decision to disgrace Mascot in front of the Alpha.

He nodded in agreement and dismissed me. I was grateful for the chance to speak to him. My next two big goals was to first prove to Laura and the Alpha all of Mascot's plan and then to warn Shadowcrest of Lucas’ evil plans for them.
