Chapter 48

            After dinner, Christopher and Bruce went upstairs. They were exhausted, especially Bruce. He was suffering from jetlag. Trevor and Selena went to the den and drank gin and tonics as they watched a movie. Then they watched the news. They didn’t head upstairs until a quarter till midnight.

            They said goodnight to each other as they went their separate ways at the end of the hallway. Selena went to her room. She was going to throw on an old comfy cotton nightshirt with little bears on it and then changed her mind. She was a little tipsy and horny from the gin and tonics.
