Chapter 94

Audrey’s POV:

Fear was the only feeling that I felt as Shantel pointed her gun at us.

I knew that Shantel would not pull the trigger on Kaden which meant that she only wanted to shoot at me and that was why Kaden had pulled me behind him to protect me in the first place.

It scared me though that Shantel who was obviously unstable could pull the trigger on impulse and out of her anger. Kaden tried to persuade Shantel to lower the gun so they could talk about whatever the problem was but she would have none of it, she was just bent on killing me. Kaden then began to plead with her, sweet talking her into listening to him.

“Shantel please listen to me. Come on, lower the gun please so we can talk about this okay?” he said to her as he took some step towards her to try convincing her to listen.
