chapter one hundred and thirty one

EDWARD’S FIRST PERSON POINT OF VIEW

I flew over literarily and “po-o-o!” was the sound I heard as I rolled over and fell flat on the other side. The rest helped me get up but the bullet had grazed my arm. Thankfully, it was a slight graze but I bled regardless.

“You are bleeding!” Taylor screamed on seeing blood gushing out from my left arm.

“It is nothing. I said as I unwrapped the scarf I had around my neck to complement my outfit then tied it around the wound to stop the bleeding. The chief security helped me with it and it was done in no time. The wound hurt like crazy but it was not something I could not handle until we got to the hospital.

“Let us find our way back to where our cars were parked.” Smart said.

Taylor tried getting up and walked on his own but could not.

“What happened? You walked a while back in there?” Smart asked him as he found it hard to get his balance then groaned when he tried too hard. He gave up and sat back on the floor.
