Chapter 26

Leah POV

The children dragged Connor away while I quietly walked beside him. Meanwhile the other members of the pack bowed as we walked past them. They could tell I was new.

They took him to a small cottage a little bit further away from the rest of the pack house. When Connor entered inside without saying a word to me, I hesitated.

Am I allowed to go in with him or should I wait here? My questions are answered when he comes out again.

“You are welcome here, Princess. Come on,” he motioned for me to go in before entering the house once again.

I glanced around. There was a little garden just beside the house. The spot where it was located looked too specific like it was designed for this person alone so I wondered who the person was.

“Let's go,” I told Evelyn and entered the house. I didn't know what I was expecting but what I saw when I entered the house exceeded my expectations.
