Chapter 25

Damien POV

I was not impressed in the slightest. In fact I was getting pissed off just thinking about it. I expected more from her. I placed my trust in her.

Stephanie looked guilty, not saying a word and it irked me. I closed my eyes for a moment, not wanting to yell at her. I had to control my anger, else I would say things I did not mean.

“What do you mean the factory was closed for a while?” I growled, opening my eyes to stare at her.

After going through the documents containing the inflow and outflow of money in the pack, I noticed we were not having as much inflow as the outflow which was strange.

The factory was still functioning so I suspected maybe someone was stealing from me, not expecting Stephanie to drop such a bomb on me. The factory had been closed for a while.

She shrugged. “Exactly what I meant. The machines needed some repairs so I've been searching for a good technician to take care of it and had not gotten any yet,” she explained.
