Just as he is about to take a swig of the big pint of beer his friends had placed in front of him, I cover it with my hand and lean in close and with a slight command embedded in my tone; I whisper into his ear.
“Come with me. I want to show you something.”
I don’t miss the slight red tinge that goes to his cheeks. He then gets to his feet and with me standing at his side, we make our way away from the table and his friends. I place my hand at the lower of his back and lead him up a flight of steps, sending out my senses and making sure that there is no one around or within the room next to us.

SKYLAR Julian made a few phone calls, and it wasn’t long before someone he seemed to know turned up to drive my Berkeley back to the castle while Julian took me back on his bike. It surprised me at how good it felt to be on the bike, at how free it made me feel. Even though I had been travelling for weeks, I hadn't really realised that I had stayed so close to the castle and to Julian. It only took us a couple of days to return on the bike.
