GRIFFIN POV I have probably been in this pack for longer than I should have, but I have enjoyed being here and Memphis is insisting that we need to stay just a little longer as we will be needed here. MEMPHIS/GRIFFIN POV ** FLASHBACK CONT… ** After a few more of these moves, he must have decided he needed to get some sort of advantage. He then must have given a couple of the other young males an order as one came over and jumped onto my back while the other grabbed the female off of the ground and held her to him with his claws extended and placed at her throat. I stopped after I had put the leader on the ground once more. I pull the male off of my back, giving him a quick hard hit to the nose and knocking him out. I drop him to the ground and turn to face the male holding the female. I smile and instead of talking to the male; I talk to the female. "Good evening ma'am, are you okay?" JULIAN POV The next two weeks are more of the same. We run the border and patrol the market. I get a hint of that amazing blood scent on occasion while walking through the market, but I can never find the owner. I have noticed that there is a human in the clan that wasn't here when we arrived but that can happen when a human miss judges the road they are on and come across one of our clan towns instead of a normal town, they usually only stay a day or two and then move on but then with the market they may just stay that little longer.I get a link from Nathaniel "Ryker, Julian, Riley, William, I need you all in the briefing room." GRIFFIN'S POVI am cleaning the store after the day's sales when I hear Amelia call out to me,"GRIFFIN!! I NEED YOUR HELP!"I quickly exit the bakery and over to where I hear Amelia. As I get to her, I say."Amelia, what's wrong? Have you hurt yourself? I did tell you to take things easy...."I stop as I get to her and see that she is holding a young female; she looks at me, saying in my head,"She is the one in trouble. I nod and move around Amelia, picking up the young female bridal style and then following close behind Amelia as she heads to the pack house and our pack healer. GRIFFIN’S POVShe moves quickly off of the bed, grabbed the clothes and headed into the bathroom. I sit on the chair in the corner as I wait for her to come back out; I don't miss the wave of guilt and sadness that comes out of the bathroom once the shower stops. Again, I need to take her mind off of whatever is going through that pretty head of hers. I laugh as she rejoins me in the room, saying."You know you had no worries. SKYLAR POV I lost the guys for a little while after I got to the MoonBlood town, but there was some sort of fair or market in the town centre. It was amazing. I spent quite a few days making my way around the market, looking at all the different things they were selling. I also noticed that a lot of the stalls had stuff to do with witchcraft, while others had stuff that you would associate with other things supernatural and myths. I picked up a few small trinkets that I could easily carry, there was one item, an amulet that I kept going back to. It was beautiful, but what was even more interesting was the fact it had the same pattern as the brand or tattoo that one of the guys has on his neck. I went back and looked at it three times and even now I am on my way back to that stall. If it is still there, I think I will buy it this time. Unfortunately, like usual with my luck, the amulet is gone. I sigh in defeat and head to the room at the motel I am renting. I will be looking at the
