We travel straight through and don’t stop until we reach a small town just outside the Phantom Bloodbound clan territory. It still took us a day and a half to get here. Archer books us into one of the hotels before booking out the hotel's conference room.

I accompany and watch as Gianna takes the female up into one of the rooms before she and I make our way down to the conference room together. Once inside, one of the werewolves closes the door and then stands in front of it. We walk over and stand next to the big table in the middle of the room where Archer has already laid out the maps.

Archer then looks at me. I step a little closer, look at the map, and then go over in my head the layout, patrols and security of the clan. I don’t know what Devlin’s job is, but to keep the female upstairs safe, I will give Gianna the fighters that they want.
