Chapter Twenty One

Avery had been watching Roxie for a while. It seemed like Avilene had been putting her through all the paces. He remembered Avilene telling him she was testing her speed yesterday. Today, he had headed out to the tree line. He was scared she would fall, but what he saw impressed him. The Pack was surrounded by thick tall grand oak trees. The limbs were thick, and climbing up them was no small task. What was more, was the speed and grace Roxie displayed as she hopped from one branch to another on those delicate little bare feet of hers.

Hey Perv, if you're just going to watch her. Why don't you join us? He heard Avilene's voice in his head and he chuckled to himself. He didn't know what possessd him, but he extended his claws and climbed up. He hopped from one tree to the next keeping a distance behind them, so he could watch his lovely little mate in action. Roxie jumped from one tree to another. His heart dropped when she jumped and missed her mark, she caught herself with her hands,
