Chapter 22

Luca was not in a good mood when he got out of his car. He slammed the car door shut and dashed to his father's mansion's main door. He's had too much today. He went to meeting after meeting; they had a client for investment who abruptly withdrew, and he became irritated because of that. He waited for several hours at the location they agreed on, but the investor didn't show up. He only found out from his father's secretary that the moron had withdrawn for personal reasons. Damn it! He wasted his time on nothing.

Luca is pleased because he is so busy that he doesn't have time to think about anything else, and he sometimes forgets to eat. He had no time to think about Carnation because he was completely focused on his work.
