Chapter Eighty Four

Tristan arrived at Craig’s party just by the hour. The crowded room had people everywhere sporting expensive looking suits or dresses that would most probably be discarded after the night would be past. Greetings were offered out near the entrance but Tristan managed to dodge that. Adding his nicely wrapped perfume to the pile of presents, Tristan spotted empty bottles of wine underneath the table, probably put there by the waiters.

As for the people in that crowded area, they reminded him of the beer bottles: empty and useless. As he stepped over the god-awful mess, he noticed the music playing in the background. At least the melody drifting through the busy atmosphere was good.

He weaved his way through the crowds of champagne-bearing waiters and extra loud people, he finally spotted what he was looking for: a quiet space by the corner.

As Tristan let the waiter fill up his glass of wine the third time, his eyes scanned the room for Roth, but there was not a sign of him to be seen
