Asher’s POV

I slammed my hand against my desk when I saw the newspaper my secretary brought in, and I wanted to ask her what made her think she could show it to me. But maybe she had done that because she didn’t know I was divorced.

For some reason, the public hadn’t seemed to get hold of the news yet, and it wasn’t as if I sat my employees down and talked to them about my personal life.

“This is crazy.” I whispered as I stared at the photo on the second page, as my secretary had brought it to me. It was a photo of May and Gary having lunch with a headline that read: WHY IS MR. CAMPBELL’S WIFE SEEN EATING WITH ANOTHER MAN? IS THERE TROUBLE IN THEIR PARADISE? OR IS SHE LOOKING TO BE IN A POLYANDRY?

“I have to call the…”

The door of my office dragged open and Brent walked in. “Have you seen the news?” he asked me as he held a copy of the newspaper I was holding in hand.

Damn, of course he had seen it too, which meant that my father had most likely seen it as well, and shown my mother. F
