Chapter 10: Mine and mine only
Luke's POV
I watch peacefully Maria as she rests her head on my bare chest.
God, I can't get over how beautiful she is.
I stroked her dark brown, soft hair as she drifted off into an awaited sleep.
I will protect her at all costs, and if any man even dare think about her, I will claw his eyes out with his own fingernails.
And with that, I fall asleep.
Maria's POV
The next morning...
I wake up and sit up straight up in bed, my body immediately tensing with sheer panic and regret.
As soon as I even move myself to get off of the bed, there's abrupt pain to my lower region as I do so. I look over beside me and see Luke laying there, asleep.
We're both naked. What have I done..
I scramble out of bed and quickly pull on my black lingerie and a hoodie, then scurry down to the kitchen.
Without a second of a doubt and my mind still racing from what I just witnessed, I begin to prepare some breakfast in a hast

2 months later..Maria's POVIt's been 2 months, 2 months of this. And It's been nothing but hell and burning hands.I've been cleaning the house every day for 2 MONTHS! Every day I get up at 4 am and start to clean this huge ass mansion all by myself. It usually takes me up to 18 hours every day, but at the start, it took me 20 hours. So 4 hours of sleep is the maximum I get everyday.Now it's Tuesday, February 5th at 4:00 am and I'm just getting myself out of bed. Recently, I've been feeling quite Ill. Maria's POVThe shock of those few words has my body completely frozen in place.
