Maria's POV
I am a terrible mother.
I am a terrible person.
My actions are unforgivable.
That's what I've been telling myself for the last three days non-stop. And I don't plan on stopping for as long as I live.
Some may think it was just an accident. But no, I severely injured 'his son' and the heir to the biggest Mafia empire to ever exist. That's a mistake that cannot be forgiven.
I'm starting to believe Luke has told everyone what has happened, since everyone is being so cruel to me now.

Maria's POVA few hours after Luke had left with Aaron, I was already finished cleaning the house and left with absolutely nothing to do.
