Chapter 65: The Last One
Jasmine and I both look to each other right after we had both just shared the shocked statement of, "Wait.. what?"
I take a deep breath at attempt to gather myself while Jasmine slowly walks to Maria's bed beside Aaron. "Aaron, sweetie?" She touches his shoulder and he stares sadly with his big blue eyes. "Does Mommy have a baby in her stomach?" She asks and points to Maria's abdomen.
Aaron nods then directs his attention back to unconscious Maria. "Mama, wake up.." he whispers and continues to stroke her hand softly.
My brain feels like it might explode. How could I have let this happen? Fuck, I promised things would change and that she'd be safe this time. But of course, that fucking stalker had to show up again right when we were starting to become happy again.

Maria's POVI eventually cried myself to a deep sleep after Luke and I's fight. All night long I had tossed and turned being too scared to let my guard down and have him come into this room. That was the last thing I wanted.In the morning, I wake up to a loud banging noise on my door. I instantly pull myself out of bed and straggled on over to the door.
