Chapter 60: On Your Own
A week later...
Maria's POV
"Aaron!" I gasp as I lift him from his crib which causes me to get an even bigger whiff of his stinky diaper. He smiles knowingly while I shake my head with a slight giggle.
I carry the little stinker over to the changing table and place him down on the soft cushiony surface. He brings his hands to his feet and uses his baby flexibility to attempt to put his foot in his mouth. "Aaron.." I warn and he stops in the motion and stares up at me. "What did mommy say about trying to eat your feet? It's no good for you!" I tell him and he releases his foot.
Grabbing a diaper, I undress him from his yellow giraffe onesie and put a new diaper and clothes on him.
