Chapter 101 - Kidnapped

Daniel's P.O.V

Fuck it!

I cursed the person who has dared to knock my door this early in morning.

When all I wanted to do after last night was hold my wife. And pay attention to all of her stupid thoughts in the back of her mind. Then, after she'd cried all her worries over my shoulder, I'd pat her back and say, "I'll take care of everything." And that she doesn't have to worry about such trivial matters while I steal a kiss from her plum pink lips like a thief.

But instead, I found myself standing in front of a Henry who looked totally drained.

"Why the hell are you here?" I snapped at him as he stared at me with eyes so dead that they even scared a person like me.

"Your daughter and my mate..." Henry trailed off, his voice raspy.

"What about them?" I asked, my tone softer now.

"I can't find them. We've been looking for them all night but no luck," Henry informed me, his eyes pleading for me to help.
