Chapter 103 - The Council

Daniel's P.O.V

But even before I could exit the room to search for them, a thunderous knock made my footsteps stop.

Is Eleanor here? Does she know about Danielle and Rayene missing? How will I explain things to her? How will I calm her down? What if she's so mad she wants to leave me again? What will I do?

No. No. This can't be happening.

I quickly made my way to the front door and opened it to reveal Henry standing on the other side, his expression tense and worried.

"Daniel, have you seen Eleanor?" he asked, his eyes scanning the room behind me.

"She's in our room. Why?" I replied, my heart racing with concern.

"She's not there, Daniel." he said, his voice barely above a whisper.

My heart sank at his words, and I felt a surge of panic rising within me. "What!?"

I felt a knot form in my stomach as I processed the information. This was not good. If she's not in the room. Where did she go?
