Chapter 102 - Indentity

Eleanor's P.O.V

"I can't, Eleanor," Daniel's firm yet soft voice rang in my ears. "I have to go now. But I will listen to it once I'll come back. Don't worry. Okay? Get some rest. I'll be back before you know it."

He said in a hurried undertone as all I could do was nod my head with eyes full of uncertainty. Daniel placed a gentle kiss on my forehead before leaving as he threw some clothes over his body and made his way out of our room, leaving me and my thoughts all alone in an empty, silent and cold room.

His sudden vanishing hit me deeper that the tiredness that has hit my entire being.

I let out a deep sigh and tried to push my thoughts away, letting my mind wander towards the happy moments we spent together. However, those memories only served to remind me of how much I was going to miss him when he was gone.

I got up from the bed and walked towards the window, hoping to distract myself from my thoughts.
